Yes, that was announced some time ago. The spec feature is complete but is being rolled out along with a host of other improvements.

I need some help with my tekin setup people because i'm stumped!

I'm running the Tekin RS Pro with a 13.5 duo 2 motor at nor-cal hobbies and my car doesn't seem to work well down the backend. My final drive ratio is at 6.49.

Throttle Profile is at 5
Timing is at 40
Turbo Boost 10
Turbo Delay 0.1
Turbo Ramp 2.0

I've geared that car all the way down to 5.10 final drive ratio but I was told that the car was overgear'd

Infield the car is perfect! but going down the 60ft straight-a-way my car is performing like a 17.5. Please help me people.

[QUOTE=Randy_Pike;7631700]DO NOT in ANY way add reverse to the unit trying to make brakes out of it. That will cause HUGE current spikes and you're going to ruin the esc.

You've been warned.

The latest software is in team hands right not under vigurous testing. There are some HUGE improvements to this software and it needs to be right. Bare with us...
randy will the new software be posiblly avalible by roar aspalt nats????

Thanks for your help guys, ran in the 13.5 BL class tonight with a Novak 13.5 motor and some of the setting changes mentioned on this thread, car was a rocket, pity I can't drive, but the car had heaps of torque and was equal to the fastest cars down the straight. Can't tell you how much fun I had, now I juist have to learn how to drive.

P.S. I'm not having the brake issue, not sure why, but I can lock the wheels if I stand on the brakes.

Back to 17.5 class this weekend, planning on keeping the same settings but maybe increasing the rollout slightly, would that make sense when moving from a 13.5 to a 17.5?

Thanks again......still grinning

The straight at Norcal is longer than that. Regardless there are a few things you've left out: Where is your motor timed? What battery are you using?

The Duo2 likes to be ran with negative 5 on the timing with agressive setups. Also for 13.5 you've got a bit more room to play ONCE you've found your gearing. The turbo time delay should be higher than .1 . Try .3

Hoe do you adjust the timing on a DUO2? Do i need to unscrew the three philiphead screws to turn the endbell?

Yes.

And contrary to what Randy said I always like my Duo2's to to have about 1 tick of positive timing (one tick to the right of the large center hash).

Right now I have the motor timed at one hash above the positive mark.

Default WGT with 1S Lipo and RS ESC

Randy,

Will there be any benefit in running the 208 on my RS in the WGT class at the Nats?

What specific settings will help me save my 1S lipo pack for the later part of a 6-minute race. I keep taking off into the lead for most races and then get caught (and passed) in the last minute. Grrrrrrrr...

Thanks.

Bill
