Hi Steve,

Thanks for choosing the CRC Gen-X 10... let's see if we can fix you up a bit.

I agree with Bill, your tires are a bit too large. We run down to 52.75 on our larger rim, so even smaller is possible with Jaco's smaller rim.

Also, a bit less camber will also help, maybe -1 degree. Plus, fully super gluing (CA) the front sidewalls will calm the car as well.

Try these changes one at a time as you may kill all your corner speed.

try around a 2.80" rollout. I ran 37/88 with 2.09 tires at the halloween race and the car was pretty quick. Remember, this varies greatly depending on what type of speedo you are using. Typically looking for a max motor temp of about 140.

Have used it with both 17.5 and 13.5 motors. And I have no concern about loss of power to either motor.

Are you still using the 2400 Lipos or have you gone 4 cell?

What battery are you going to run? With 4-cell NiMH you should be able to use their 16 gauge wire, but I haven't tried it. I run 7.4V LiPo/17.5 and lost too much power with the 16 gauge wire, but the 13 gauge works great.

Hey Guys,

I am actually having some issues mounting the motor. It seems like there is a flange in the way that is making the motor mount unevenly. Worse part is, when I looked at the flanged CF, there is a screw that is flush with the edges. Filing down is way out of the question.

So my next question is, should I shrink the spur and pinion down while trying to achieve the 66:1 FDR?

I am also having some issues mounting the sensor wire as well. Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

As far as tire size, I have my Jaco's trimmed down to 52 in the rear.

Hi guys

I am new in the pan car world, could say that I know nothing.

Have just build my Gen-X 10 last week.

I am going to run on club in an asphalt track.

Below there is a picture of the track can someone help me build a set up.

I am going to use a LRP 9.5 stock motor, LRP 5300 Lipo battery and LRP Sphere TC Competition, basically is the electronics I use on my TC5.



I have the original spur gear of the kit I think it is a 100T.

The track as you can see have 180º corners, there is a long section on it of about 50 meters but the others have maximun 8 to 10 meters.

We also use many different types of circuits, but this big one is the most used.

The track is a little bumpy in some points and have a medium grip.

I have also another question I bought some pairs of Jaco at Amainhobbies do I really have to trim them or can I run them right out of the box? If I have to trim what diameter should I put them?

Sorry for so many questions but here in Brazil this class of cars are not well know.

Back the screw out and grind it down flush! I didn't want to do this either, but this seemed to be the consensus at our local track. After this, the motor fits fine, and you'll have plenty of gear ratios to work with.
