Default Bumper M03

I have an M03 and i think like the way the bumper standard is is not so good for the lifetime of your body. I am looking for a good (foam)bumper that will reach my body so it wont smach inside when you hit something and your body will break down.
What kind of bumpers are you guys using?

Can you tell me an part numer of that TL01 bumper?

I have an set of normal TRF dampers (not the short one) and i like to fit them on my M03 but i have to put some spacers in the shock so the length would be ok. Does perhaps someone know how many mm of spacers i have to put in the shocks to get the right length? (front/rear)

Thanks.

all the TRF dampers are the same length (i believe)

i used 5mm spacers under my pison in the shocks and it works great

you need the short M chassis springs also

possible bad batch of material used in your gears?
or something else causing them to strip, like not using the front bumper or just hitting boards??

First I've heard that happen to anyone though.
From the vids posted, your car looked like it was working well in the A main - you came back and pushed Ivan pretty hard, and could have run away with it if not for clipping that tight right-hander on the first lap

PS - Jim - I'm with Stu on this one - I can swap gears or adjust the diff in about 12 minutes...

here's the video link if anyone wants to check it out.
Mine is the Orange car on TQ that seems to just drive itself into the boards on the first corner....

It was still a little unstable for my liking, I still say I NEED sway bars on it to really get the most out of it, but it was almost as good as my 03 !

That looks nice! Can you share more on how you made it? Do you need to do any modification on the mount?

With another chassis, I used the kit bumper as a template to cut out a slightly bigger bumper out of ... knee pad foams! Try to find some at a hardware store. Or maybe this might work too http://www.graphicice.com/index.php/...temID/18584802

Can all these parts, along with the mods, be applied on the M-05 as well?

OOOh that was exciting I felt your pain when you bumped the second corner twice there in the last 3 laps! It's funny, I find touring cars quite relaxing to race, but the mini class always makes me jump nervously on my toes on the podium. Watching it is no different!

No link to a recent mini race, but here is an nice older video a magazine made of our regular winter series The second half is particularly good:

...tried for ages to get that embeded, without success
can anyone explain how to embed google videos in posts here?
