Hey guys kinda a newbie question but i just wanna make sure im building the rear diffs on my ta-06 and im at the part where i attached the spur gear to the rear diff after i got the spur on i spun it and noticed that one side of the diff was stronger then the other is this normal? is it how some cars have posi and that just doesnt apply here?

There are two kits, the "pro" and the soon to be release "standard" kit that will come with a body, but no nice blue parts and no trf shocks.

Haha, no problem JWright. Will do. Need to get Timmie back into TCS racing. I'll be heading to my first one since 2007. Hey, what blinky esc you using for TCS? I need to pick up a cheap one. Wish they allowed Roar Spec, but oh well. I'm looking at the SpeedPassion one. Cirtix I'm thinking.

After finding out that the car doesn't have enough chassis rigidity, I sat down and looked at it, and did some ghetto mods.
For the front pulley holder, I used different methods for the two screws to hold that piece down. For the front side, I used a little longer screw and put a lock nut from underneath and for the rear side, I used a fairly long screw (20mm). This allowed me to torque the screws really tight to prevent the pulley holder from moving. This should do until someone makes an aluminum version.
The car is pretty flexible in its entirety, adding to the loosening of the center belt upon hard braking. The part that contributes the most to this flex is the point where the upper motor brace meets the top of the battery box. I got some thin card board(from the packaging of parts), and shoved it into the areas you see in the pic. I also closed up any spaces inside the battery compartment to make it a tight fit. I added some card board to the top of the battery, and to the front of it. This surprisingly made the chassis pretty stiff, and the belt doesn't get too loose even if I try to bow the chassis. I still have to test it, but it will have to do until the carbon chassis/parts are released.
Keep in mind, though, that I race on a sugar water track with sorex36 and 17.5 boosted. Hope this will help some people, and if you have better ideas, share them!
BTW, the DUO series motors do not fit unless you hack about 2mm of material from the upper left motor brace. The motor tabs rub big time.

Check your internal diff mesh. Possible that inside the diff one of the crown (big) gears isn't meshed right. Pull it apart and check that the teeth are all moving correctly. I'm not sure on the new tamiya gears, but have a close look at make sure you've not damaged the teeth. I've had this before and had to take the case apart and realign... teaches you quickly to make sure that the teeth are meshed properly before screwing the case down.
