We already have 13.5 1S for WGT. Just put a VTA body on it for laughs. At club level someone should think its cool.

He did that too. Yeah Scottrik he did it both ways. Im not sure if the page is still up but there was a PanTC with a black HPI stang shell on it. I think it was pod in the back and TC suspension in the front.

On those adapters I would just send him an email and ask for the adapters. He might have a set he can sell, or if his machine lathe is up he might be able to cut you some.

Edit: Uh ok my memory is fading. I did think that he had just an adapter for the front, but it looks like he changed the whole steering hub and axle. You can see that its just pan car arms up front too.

Might inspire me to run VTA shell in RCGT. It would be a disadvantage in handling but Im already a back marker. I dont think I can do much worse than last.

ok.....so say i get a cyclone-s chassis
i get the HPI 1966 mustang body
the 4793 and 4797 tires
and the 3815 and 3822 wheels...

what else would i need to get a legal car to run?
and motor/esc? 21.5 i know...since i want to run lipo, but what brand/spec?

i JUST found out about this class from a buddy...and it looks like it'd be fun.

i've already got an m11 and a few spare rx's that i could use, an extra transponder (if needed), and 2 2s 25c 5000mah comon sense lipos i can run.

Novak 21.5, Ballistic or SS. For ESC, they all work well. If you want to stay cheap look for a used GTB or LRP or Speed Passion or get the Havok 21.5 combo and be done with it. See if the battery fits and you're set.

Perfect on the combo if you want to go with new. As long as you can get parts for the cyclone its just fine. Check to see what parts they carry at your shop. If they don't have spares, I would pass on that car. I'd look for a used version of whatever the stock the most parts of. I still run an old Assocated TC3 because my shop keeps stocking parts.

Thanks!

Daddy-o
I'm in the process of taking over the domain from Doug C (apexspeed). Should have everything back up to speed shortly. Meanwhile, use the apexspeed link.
