The biggest problem with these speedos is it gives more top speed that anyone can notice. A one second advantage down the straight is easier to see then the three seconds the same guy gets in the infield. This is why your "normal" driver thinks this is his missing piece to his racing puzzle. You all know the type driver. When in doubt punch it even if you miss the apex by three feet.

I believe this issue is covered in the rules"it is up to the race management to even the racing out via suggested gearing changes."....Just remember what you have laying around R/C wise isnt always what the next guy has laying around...

For what its worth... last night in Omaha here was the order of finish.... all 21.5's because that's all we run... not by rule but by choice.

1st.... FK04
2nd... TA05R
3rd.... TA05 IFS R
4th.... FK04
5th.... FK05
6th.... XXX-S G+
7th.... FK05
8th.... XXX-S G+
9th.... XXX-S
10th...Sprint 2

Most are running some sort of Novak speedo... two tekin RS's... one speed passion... one losi.

Exactly!!!!!....I run the RS in my 007 and I turn it way down and run 5.7 FDR at my home track for VTA...Now if I am travelling and guys are killing me I will change the timing to keep it even....But thats just me....
