So the wing that comes with the PN: hpi 17508 isnt allowed in USVTA even though it comes with the body kit?

Per USVTA rules on their site "Body provided deck lid spoilers allowed (not wings)." That GT-350 just has a spoiler doesn't it?

I ran one on my first 68 Camaro body, but with my "awesome" driving skills it got torn off before too long, and it was a real pain to paint detailed striping on it, so I didn't bother on my last body.

the shelby comes with a WING, not a spoiler...Actually the mustang is the only HPI body that does NOT have a spoiler

the GT350 has the wing, the '66 fastback has nothing

best thing to do is take a wing off an old camero or a 'cuda and make it fit

ooohhhh Ive been waiting on this for a year...lol

the wing isnt allowed, but if you take the edge where it is bent..and cut it down to size..say - 1/2" Trunk-lid Spoilers Allowed..this really doesnt add any handling IMO..but looks cool

Ok thanks darkside.... I was just curious... next question... do most tracks allow traction compound in VTA? next question.... the numbers on the car deck lid, doors, and hood, what if 2 drivers show up with the same numbers on their cars?

most of our racers use Paragon or Ragu, ....most indoor tracks have certain ones you can and cant use...you will have to check with the RD of that track to make sure....but all Ive been to allow some kind or another....

in club racing it wont matter...you can change the 9 that comes with the HPI Camaro to 6, 5, 7, 1, 3, with a extra piece an 8.....at the USVTA Nats we were given numbers as so...

and if you look on our front web page with 27 cars, none had the same number..I think..lol
