I purchase a R1Pro two months ago. Waited another 6 weeks for the Redline 2.5T motor. Got tired of waiting!! Ordered the Trinity Duo 3.5T. Found that Stormer had 2 redline 2.5T in stock, took them both right away. They have been re-order since. Since then,I haven't tried the Trinity DuO yet.
R1Pro I haven't had a problem of lag, or delay either way. I installed it to my old Xray T1, for test. And was amazed on power and acceleration. Just playing around with the Drag Brakes would help, or make sure the capacitor in the kit is installed. Uninstalled the T1, and install it to My new Serpent S400. Took a while to figure out the gearing, but got it to perform the same way the T1 performed. Running 5000 mah lipo's
The only problem, the S400 rear diff can not take the torque the Redline 2.5T
puts out. Stripped out lock nut in the diff. Makes a screaching sound when ball diffs come loose.
IMO R1 Pro is all you need. Running brushless or Brushed, Sensored or sensorless, NiMh or lipo's. No turn limits. A good purchase IMO.

If you're running a high wind motor like the 13.5 or 17.5 you won't be happy until the RS comes out. The R1 works fine for mod but works best with the Tekin motors that ROAR conveniently made illegal again.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's annoyed at reading every two days "when's the RS coming out?". Don't you know the virtues of patience? You're just filling this thread with useless messages, and the people at Tekin have other things to do than keep looking on here, like for example get the RS out as soon as they possibly can, so let them work.
