Default Big Problem!!1

When i switch on my car and transmitter, (im tryin to set up my ESC) wen i turn left and right, the wheels shudder left and right and the rear wheels also move when i turn left or right.

What could this be. I also got Capacitors with my ESC do these have to be installed to the motor, ive installed the Schottky diode.

Thanks

Default Just run the car

I didnt fit the capcitors and it runs fine.

One thing i want to ask is, wen i brake quite hard u hear a scraping sort of noise. Is this normal.

Thanks

Some motors come with Surface mount capacitors already installed on the motor. Some older motors do not have these and yes you have to install the capacitors on the motor. Or else you are likely to experience some glitching as you described earlier.

The MS has surface mount caps. You can see them on the green plate at the end of the endbell. If your ESC doesn't have reverse you might find a Schottky diode a help. Install either on the motor or on the wires within two inches of the motor, which saves getting one for each motor.

Lightbulb doublest;

THE MONSTER STOCK ALREADY HAS SURFACE MOUNT CAPACITORS ON THE CIRCUIT BOARD. YOU DO NOT NEED TO INSTALL ANY MORE!!!!!
