it isn't V13 definately :-)
Hi,
I've got my GM75 and GM13.5t in my T3 now running 5.0fdr for outdoors.
What mode should I be setting it too ?
I've set my 'Amp Limit to 80A'
What is 'Reserved 4=1' and 'Reserved 4=3' ? I've set 10000rpm but can't find or don't know what 'Reserved' means ?
I've set 'Fixed Timing too 24' and 'Max timing too 25' is that correct, I left 'Timing with Sensors' at 0 ?
The only other thing I've changed is 'Motor Cutt Off Temp too 115'
Anything I've missed ?
Thanks.

as for mode read above
Timing is correct and "timing with sensors = 0" also. This is VERY IMPORTANT!
Motor cutoff is ok too.
If you've read the how-to I doubt that you missed anything
Reserved 4 is found in the telemetry tab. It automatically changes to either 1 or 3 if you enable Highspeedtiming (gives Res4=1) or if you enable that and HST with Switchpoint (gives Res4=3)
Basically reserved is the function in the speedo where all the extra features are stored in. You activate them by clicking variable depence timing for example, or new brakesoftware.
Everytime you tick a extrafunction a reserved value changes.
Just not bother with those.
The only important one is the reserved 4, as it enables the "new-new" brakes which are more forcefull and yet a lot better to handle.
They are enabled by adding "4" to the reserved 4 value you got already.
So if you run without a switchpoint (17.5/13.5 stock) you get a reserve 4 value of 5 (1+4) and if you run with switchpoint (10.5 / lrp x12/ modified) you get a reserved 4 value of 7 (1 + 2 + 4)
I hope it's clear now.

Ok thanks Martin think I have it sorted now.
I have set 'Reserved 4 to 4 so it said in box one 1 and the other box 4 but now it shows 4 and 4 ?
Have you got a screen shot of the Telementry tab and how it should be set ?
So I don't have to set the Mode/Powercurve to 9, it can be anything as long as it's fwd/brake, don't I need 9 or 11 to get the higher timing ?
Confused

not TO for but res4 value PLUS4 -> if it was 1 set it to 5 (in words FIVE!)
no powercurve to be activated!
no powercurve to be activated!

It's easier if I just post my screen shots and you tell me what I'm doing wrong

1. which transmitter are you using? your values seem really far spread (should be 1.9/1.4-1.5/1.1!)
2. use 4kc frequency
3. please read the post above yours (from me) again. read it slowly and please think about what you read there. then have a look at your telemetry settings again ...

Hello, i thinking to buy a new ESC, for 1/12 pan car, i see a GM 75 is small and have good specifications, i run in mod, outdoor tracks, with X12 motors, 5.0-4.0 normally with 3.7v (1S).
Is good this model, for this use? Or is litle forced with this motors? ( I know the specifications are 3.7v>=3.5T) but sometimes, the practice is not the same of teory.
Thanks, Luis C.

to s.a.w.....my ko have 70% as original setting for stick travel, so maybe yours too as if I set the controller with 100% I obtain the same values as yours, but if I set with 70% travel it is ok...hope this help!

Yes you will get full throttle as full throttle is always what the transmitter sends as fullthrottle signal.
You could turn down your epa to 1%, then you'd have neutral = neutral, 1 = full throttle ... just an example
and I think you still did not get the reserved 4 thing.
please read it again !

Martin I understand the Reserved now at last
When I upload V13 'High Speed Timing' is ticked and 'HS Switching' is ticked and down the bottom 'Variable depencetiming' is ticked
so I need to just untick HS Switching as I'm running 13.5t ? and leave the others ticked ?
then add 4 to Reserve 4 and it will read 1 - 4 ?
I'm a bit unsure if I need HS switching as your guide on page 124 say's
but on this page you say

When racing Stock I usually prefer not to use a switchpoint (Reserved 4=1). But this requires really smooth throttle control sometimes so in the sample file I enabled the switchpoint (Reserved 4=3) and set it to 10000 RPM. Anything Less is pretty much pointless.
Thanks.
