jason. looks like shipping in about a month. donny lia has been testing and with a 13.5 motor lap times have been identical to 4 cell 17.5. from what i understand the battery is 3.7v lipo and will have humps in bottom of case to fit all link style cars. it will be alot lighter obviously and weight will be needed

I think the DB12R will be dialed with LiPo due to the geometry.

Default shims?

Hey Jason. I know you told me the other day when I talked to you but of course, I forgot. When using the linear springs do you leave 3 small shims on the top of the upper suspension arm? Also do you still leave the gold shim in between the top of the steering spindle and the pivot ball. Just making sure before I put them on. Thanks a lot!!!

You will want a total of 3 shims per side.1 on top of the steering spindle and 2 on top of the upper eyelet.

Question about the diff.....
The first flanged bearing in the spur up against the AXLE FLANGE, is the flange of the bearing up against the axle flange OR does the flange of the bearing sit away from the axle flange?

The flange on the bearing should fit inside the recess on the axle flange.

You want the bearing flange to sit against the flange on the axle

Hey JB,

The Niftech diff lube is my favorite. Particularly in the syringe.

As indicated in the previous post, the Slapmaster diff kit bolts right into the DB12R.
