Use the neutral factory timing setting that comes with the motor.

We used a little higher FDR then we use for the LRP 4,5T and the motor had a little more punch but the topspeed was lower. We both think that we have to go lower with the FDR, but we had no opppertunity to test that.

End this month we try it again.

Nitpicking here but....... no decals in the package? I realize there's not sensor wire but not even a decal on a $100 motor?

Hi Guy's
Can anyone please help me
What model Orion Brushless would give me the same power as a Orion OJ 7x1 Modified motor. also if I am running a ratio of 8.41 FDR for my track now, what changes in the ratio would I need to do.
I run a Cyclone Andy moore-speed model
final ratio 2.4375.1
I run 64 pitch and use a spur 108/ pinion 31
Thanks Addam

Nice that the new 10.5 does not come with an updated FDR chart.

Any ideas as to the FDR for rubber tire large track?

its pretty good i think the novak has a little more RPM but the orion can pull a higher gear my motor was coming off the track around 140 degrees and with 5 cells it came off the track around 117 degrees, plus 5 cells believe it or not was faster than 6

Have you tried to increase the timing to increase RPM?
