xanavi, i usually order online but i keep the total at $100.00 or below. if the package arrives at your local post office, you'll just pay P20.00 in fees, no taxes. a few months ago, when i ordered more than $200.00 in r/c stuff, i had it sent via door to door UPS. i was contacted by their subic office that the package arrived there and before delivery to my house, i had to pay about 20% in taxes.

The TA05 MS is the first full-blown chassis kit of the TRF Series. With a motor position optimized to balance both high-speed and handling performance, the TA05 MS combines the TRF415's excellent throttle response with the TA05's stable handling. Double deck structure features 2.5mm lower and 2mm upper carbon fiber decks, and the drivetrain is equipped with such special parts as front/rear wide pitch pulleys, front one-way, and aluminum motor mount for sharp, accurate response. As if that wasn't enough, 3mm front/rear damper stays, aluminum steering arms, and front/rear aluminum bulkheads are all standard equipment, making the TA05 MS the strongest TA05 chassis in existence.

the 3mm is the damper stay...

wow... 20% tax??? it's like you bought a kit here in the philippines... it will almost reach the same price as the online shop with the tax and shipping...

never mind the online shopping...

btw, is there a local shop that is more advance than our LHS??? like for example, ebay...

gentlemen (and ladies, if any )

yes, its look pretty thick... I didn't measure it yet and now I'm at the office (tons of work lately, trips, blah blah blah...) I will measure it, it is definitely thicker than the 2mm chassis of the MSXX , I wonder if it is 3mm as well now that you mentioned it... but the specs says 2.5mm, thus only a real measure will clarify this...

BTW, I did not pay taxes, there are ways to avoid them... but that depends on the country...

go back a page. someone has their completely built up and compares the TA05 vs. 05MS vs the 415MSXX.

the belts are not equal length. the rear belt is slightly shorter.
