Marcos,

Harshguy finished 2nd in the Master Class at the Asphalt Nats and I think 3rd in the Masters Class at the Carpet Nats. He knows how to set up a car.

Looks just like what I predicted.... Stock and 19T become a SUCKFEST. LOL

Do you really think this is the way to keep the racers we have while bringing in the new guy? I don't think so.....

Like I have said before.....how's the Oval turn out at YOUR track?????? nuff said.

Yep, and again I didn't want to mess with setups I wanted to just run and compare, the cars weren't setup optimally for 6 cell either given the track conditions, etc. ...so yea could have bettered the 4 cell times, just as well as the 6 cell times could have been bettered with tuning.

A thought from outside the box:

Are we being set-up ? get everyboby all wound up over the 4 cell issue and then in the end say: OK we decided to go to 5 cell to stay in line with EFRA and IFMAR.
Just like when gas prices were going thru the roof, you will pay over $4 a gal, and then when it peaked at around $3.60, we were all happy, yahoo, it didn't get to $4 after all.
Seems to be a great political ploy, aren't you happy it didn't come out as bad as predicted??????

So far we have not heard anything from roar, only one excom member, and thanks Adrian for giving us the oportunity to discuss this change.

never implied that he didnt, just stating that with 4 cells you need to change minor things to get the car to work better with less weight.

Wow, Harsh, I can't even spell that.

Adrian is the only excom member that I know of that even bothered to enter into this debate.
To me he sounds like he is for that change.

To top it all off, none of us asked for this. So why the change? In EFRA, there are a few that state they need 2-3 armatures per club meeting as they "BLOW UP"... What a crock... And it would seem that has caught the attention of the ROAR excomm.

If European club racers are physically "blowing up" 2-3 motors a club day, just how many people manage to finish the mains? NONE?? That's the law of averages. If you're "blowing up" 66% of the time, it's fair to say that 66% of the racers are not going to finish... Anybody here know if only 4 out of 10 racers finish every main event in Europe?

Gotta look out for stuff like this.. All it takes is one racer to bend ROAR's ear, and BAMMO, we have new rules BASED ON HERESAY. Don't think it can't happen.

I think most of us are willing to listen to good debate. If these blowups are happening at this un-bleiveable rate, show us. Show us the race results where nobody finished, or only 4 managed to finish, or nobody even qualified as they ALL "BLEW UP"... THAT would indeed be an epidemic. Show us some results.

Don't use words like, "many", or "a lot", "to many", "tons", show us a number, and show the epidemic that is believed by those in charge of EFRA, and those that support it's decisions.

I think we are all willing to look. Show us something tangible.

With 4 cells it won't be long before mod guys will be running 2-3 wind motors. I hope you don't think I'm kidding!

I say SCREW IT....let's make 3 cell the choice for ALL Racing. (3 cell LIPO that is...)

3.5 NOVAK BRUSHLESS MOTORS w/ 3 cell 3.3v LiPo's the ONLY Recognized SANCTIONED CLASS..ONE CLASS and EVERYONE has to RUN IT~

Let's see w/ a static RPM of 10,500 RPM per volt @ 10.0 volts that would be motors that turn 105,000 RPM... RUN THAT BABY~~~BoooYah
