Default Motor+ESC question

I'm planning on buying a 19T motor to race with, and I have a 13T to race with around my house. If I buy a 13T ESC , I know I can use the 19T motor with it, but do I have to re-program the ESC every time I switch motors? Any help would be nice, 'cause I don't feel like burning another ESC.

Yes and no. Some ESC feed power differently, so depending on how much power you want to go to the motor, you CAN re-program if the ESC gives you the option. ESC's like the NOVAK dually, goes from stock to modified in a matter of two button presses. If you have an ESC that just feeds juice, then no need to think about programming, just plug and play.

The ESC I'm going to get is the Futaba MC330R, the same one I had before. Would that be ok to just switch and go?
