what center diff oil people running for medium-low grip. We run on a blue groove, but the groove is sporadic. I am very tired of this heavy oil. huge PIA to change.

I have just placed an order for an RC10B64. I will be running this on high grip carpet. Are there essential upgrades for this kit on carpet? Or is there a good setup I can use? I will likely be running a 13.5t with it. I do have an 8.5t I can run as well, but I find that to be a bit too much power on the tracks I run.

Thanks!

The only real essential part is the alloy steering drag link, but for 13.5, the MIP pucks seem to be popular.

The vegas setup is a good place to start. The only other thing I would add in the beginning is the alloy rack. Plastic diff gears work fine for 13.5 so long as you have some slip tuned into the sliper. Crank it down tight or run an eliminator and you will kill plastic gears quick. If your planning on going back and forth between a 8.5 and 13.5 stay with the metal gears.

I am assuming you are talking about the metal diff rebuild kit, 92077 correct?

Thanks,

I would try a 20 tooth pinion. We run a 5.5 with 19/81 gearing and timing on the Reedy 510r set at 2.
