Nice setup, where did you get those batt connectors and the fan btw? Also why do you prefer it over the Tekno? Just curious, thanks!

I got on ebay for the fan and battery connector from LHS. I feel the SCTE is better for technical track and more corner speed than the tekno.

I understand the 3.0 chassis is wider - how does that affect the performance of the car when not angling the motor?
The angle motor is definitely something you'll probably like.

I wouldn't recommend running without the chassis brace.

I had considered getting the new Durango DESC10 until this truck came out. I'll just take the Tekin RX8/ Pro 4 4000KV out of my current truck ( Slash 4x4 that's in pieces) and put it into this one. I've been using my 22sct 2.0 to race in the 4x4 SC mod class (nobody at the track knows....shhhhhh) and placed 4th out of 8 in the B-main. HA! I was turning faster laps with this truck then I was with my heavily modded 4X4 Slash. Love Losi trucks! I can't wait to get the new scte 3.0.

Why? What does it do for me?

How does the benefit of angling the rear of the motor out (away from the center) on the 3.0 (reducing the front driveshaft angle and increasing the rear driveshaft angle) compare to the benefit of moving the front of the motor in (toward the center) and reducing the front driveshaft angle while increasing the rear driveshaft angle in the King Headz chassis for the SCTE 1.0?

BTW, I run loose dirt. Only loose dirt. Tires like Blockades and Calibers. Occasionally Bowfighters.

Will there be a titanium screws kit for the 3.0? Would be nice
