Destroying front tires is probably an over statement but the wear is higher than I'd like. I feel the front end isn't quite rolling enough and is scrubbing the front along the ground
P.S. only upgrade is the TLR gear diff

I've been following this thread for a little while now, I've owned and raced Durango and Associated vehicles, including the B5M. I haven't built a new Losi race car since the XX-CR Kinwald Edition...lol. I sold off the Durangos a couple years ago and have recently sold off the Associated stuff.........it's time for a change......I am really impressed with the 22 3.0 so I ordered one from Amain and I am looking forward to building it and racing it. Sometimes a fresh start is just the ticket.

Had my first official race saturday with my 3.0. Running in 17.5 blinky it was pretty easy to drive, but has a slight push. There was 28 people in the class and I positioned myself 2nd in the B Main. We are currently running a spring points series, so there were bump ups. I ended up winning the B and getting myself into the A. Went back into the pits, topped off my battery and sauced my tires. Starting 10th in the A, I got off to a great start and was able to jump into the middle of the pack. I ended up staying there the whole race and finished 6th.
I am very happy I made the switch from the 2.0. This buggy is smooth. I am going to try the long VLA next and see if I like that better.
I also qualified 5th in 17.5 blinky A main with my SCT 2.0 and finished 6th as well. Loving my TLR rides!

From my understanding toe out aids initial turn in and toe in aids mid corner to corner exit does it not? I use to run toe out on my 8 Buggy to help flick it in but with the 2wd I'd prefer it more to bite as it leans in through the corner

Ive always started with zero toe initial and never really gone more than 1* total out. If your looking for more mid out; look at some adjustments like ackerman or camber gain changes. you want to keep the contact patch on the ground. these are simple, quick changes to make.and you'll notice the affect real quick.
