Bent,
Can you post Malin's setup from EOS this last weekend?
Were you running all hard parts? Options? Springs, oils, etc?
I have had my XB2 preordered for months but need to get a spare parts order in before it ships. I run on high bite carpet and med-high to high bite astro.
Thanks,
Troy

Which one are you going to get? Carpet version now, or Dirt version later?
Any chance I can test drive it at Thornhill when you get it ready?
I'm on the fence between the TLR 22-3.0 and the XB2
Tyler's 3.0 was amazing at the track last weekend, but my next big questions on the dirt edition are:
The track I race at appears that it might need a hybrid of options between the Carpet/Dirt editions, ha!
It would be nice to get pricing between both and to calculate the difference to see which edition is more economical for switching out desired parts between versions.

I suspect I'll be ordering a set of carbon towers for it too, I'm not a fan of composite towers.
You're more than welcome to try it out once I get it.

I am super excited about this kit. I have been looking closely at the losi 3.0, and now this here XB2. I have a couple questions I didn't see addressed here in the thread... or maybe it is common knowledge stemming from the 4wd.
1. Does the kit's wheel's offests match B5/RB6 wheels? Will I be able to run AE wheels, or will we have to buy Xb2 specific wheels?
2. Low tooth spurs... being a 17.5 guy, are there ~69 tooth spurs available?

@Capt. - You can run AE or TLR wheels. You just might need different offset hexes to get the exact same track width depending on the brand. (+/-1mm)
I'll dig up the offset measurements I ook and post them up when I can.

Bill, I'm waiting on the dirt edition. I don't think the traction is high enough where we race for the carpet edition.

I guess the big question is would it be more cost effective to buy the Carpet Edition + Dirt Edition Gear Box
OR...
Dirt Edition + Carbon Towers
Assuming Dirt Edition comes with a gear diff and both Medium + Hard plastic parts.
Talk about lots of options to consider eh?

Thanks man, that's the exact setup I was thinking of too... possibly with the hard arms on the front and medium arms on the rear maybe? Call it the "Clay Edition"... LOL

The carpet didn't look like it would come but two sets of plastics, wait for the release we will know then what's in the box.

we will see. The dirt edition is still being finalized. I am sure RCAmerica will release the details as soon as they can with pricing and etc.
The nice thing though, is with the carpet edition, RCAmerica is including the Ball Diff so you don't have to wait. Thats worth the $60 alone. If you race on something with medium to high traction I think you would be fine with the carpet edition, just run the medium plastics that come IN THE BOX!

We ran 2x1.6 and 2x1.7 pistons (drilled stock pistons), graphite arms, under LiPo weight from Xray, brass bulkhead, alu. rear camber link mount.
Rest of the parts where stock Carpet Edition parts
