Hello, I just put together this truck and aside from one or two areas I'm very impressed by the quality. I see that the stiff ball cups issue has been noted in the thread and I'll be trying some of these fixes, but has anyone had excessive slop in the A-arms? My rear left A-arm has a lot of slop at the hinge-pin while the rear right A-arm is fine. The rear bearing carriers have a lot of slop as well, both sides. I double-checked the assembly manual and made sure that I used all of the spacers. When I disassembled the rear A-arms and put them back together, I found the rear bumper caused the slop.. any advice??

What gearing/timing recommendations do you have for a T5M equipped with XFactory CF chassis with a 17.5T blinky Fantom FR1 Type T on a medium sized high bite clay very technical track.

Today was the first day driving my T5M truck I put the three gear trans and I am running Tekin Gen 3 Motor 9.5 with a tekin RS Pro. The gearing I was running is 84 spur 21 pinion. The car felt flat and it was running hot. I did not have my temp gun but I could tell by the touch. Being that I am running a three gear trans should my gearing be totally different. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Schelle Racing told me to run 81T -22T pinion. I'll give that a try.

Hi all - I'm building a T5m and will be using the Associated Aluminum Rear Hubs. I've found Associated's installation instructions for these online, but only as they pertain to a B5 (xxx.teamassociated.com/pdf/cars_and_trucks/shared/91548.91549-Alum-Rear-Hubs-for-B5-B5M.pdf[/url]). I have to imagine that the geometry is different between the B5 and the T5. Any recommendations from the group as to (i) which hole to use to mount the ballstuds, and (ii) how many mm in spacers to use under the ballstuds?
Thanks - I've read through this ENTIRE thread and found it super helpful!
