Has anyone experienced on loose clay?
Our track is out side , hard with small holes and usually a bit dusty.
Usually we go back with Hole shot M3 and 4-Rips in front.

This is the Track:

Questions?? SRX-2 Low grip set up

Gents,

Does any one have a low grip set up for this car or a good place to start. Have just about built mine and the quality of the parts is superb.

The shocks aren't to bad either, don't think they are quite as good as the Kyosho ones, but they are a lot better than other brands (only my opion though).

Cheers for the advice Lee

Im still allowed to run the d3.5 so I'm running that with about a 30 tooth pinion. You'll need to get a 70/72 spur if you haven't already got one.

I am running a speedzone 17.5 with 12.5HT rotor. I am at 33/72 and come off at 170* for 8 minutes. Smaller indoor tracks, med to astro traction.

Gonna try this at 301 Sunday. Only thing I won't have is the aluminum bulkhead.

This set up is basicly what I run at 301. The only change you might want to make is moving the top of the front shock out 1 hole to position 3. It makes the steering a little more responsive. Other then that it should drive great for you.

Is anyone running the brass ackermans?

My buggy is about 79 grams underweight, so I want to add weight in the front and other strategic places.

Is the alum bulkhead still a loose fit for the hinge pins? That's a bummer if it is. I just need a little more on power steering and she is dialed.

The brass ackermans are a great tuning aid for on power push..You can cure the loose fitting hinge pins by drilling and tapping the alum bulkhead and installing grub screws, it works great..If you need a pic I can post one up.
