I second this. This car is outstanding with the motor forward. At least to me, motor back never quite felt right. I recently made a setup sheet showing what I have been running to help the guys looking to try motor forward.

Thanks Potoczak for the tip..I'll try it this Saturday..

Are the stock body the way to go?
I have both standard servo and lightweight servo and dont know who i Will start with. Balance?
Witch motor layouts do you prefer? It seems like mostly running motor in rear.

i haven't been on this site for a long time and just purchased a zx6 the car went together really really well with tons of configuration setups just was wondering how this kit runs right out of the box currently the electronic setup is as follows

motor back on left side
servo infront of motor
speedo/receiver/shorty all on right side of car
car seems very balanced and am going on tue to test it out
just would like some opinions on how the car handles
track had ridiculous traction and am using slicks
med size track with a few nice jumps

thanks

Ran the car today with motor forward and shorty and I have to agree, its pretty awesome so far. We had a track change a few days ago so I will have to see as traction comes up. Overall, really happy with how it performed.

Shake and bake...

Thanks for sharing. I just picked up a zx6 and was looking for a good starting point. The wiring also seems easier with a front motor and shorty lipo so I'm glad to hear that the setup works for people. I'm completely new to 1/10 scale 4wd buggies and can't wait to make it to the track.

Gear diffs are less maintenance and good on high traction tracks..i stick with ball diffs its better all around setup for high or lose tracion tracks.

Would like some feedback please. What do you guys recommend for a tight, high bite, clay track: gear diffs or ball diffs?
