I installed MIP torq rods & puck drive shafts last night they are high quality & well made. The MIP shafts take out all the slop from the center drive lines all you feel now is the ring & pinon backlash from the gear case. Going to run it Saturday we'll see how she does.

I've been wondering about the MIP driveshafts. I'd like to see some folks run them for a few weeks before I spring for them. I'm still running the 1.0 setup so the front shaft sees quite a bit of wear. I would like to do something about that. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

Can someone help me out here. Doing a rebuild for the first time on my truck. With regards to the steering turnbuckles.....the manual has you build the steering links with the outside rod end pivot flange up and the inside pivot flange up. I know at one point Ryan came on here and said run both flanges up or down...just cab't remember which one. Thanks in advance to anyone that can set me strait.

A simple question and I am sure there is a simple answer to it.

Looking at Ryans set-up sheet in the first post he notes his shock length as 'Full plus 2 turns' on the front shock and 'Full plus 1 turn' on the rear shock.
Does this mean the end is threaded all the way on and then threaded on an additional 2 turns to make the over-all shock length shorter? Or do I un-thread the shock end 2 turns to make over-all length longer?

And I am going to assume that a turn is a full 360 degrees.

They are actually unscrewing the shock end a turn to increase the shock length. So they have the droop screws completely backed off and the shock length increased to increase the droop even more.

in my opinion the torque rods with the bce chassis makes it to stiff.

Does anyone know the part # for the pins that hold the outdrives in?

The manual shows LOSB3568 Diff Seals/ Shims/ Pins & Gasket: Which is a o-ring, gasket and washer set with the pins. I find it odd you have to buy these extra parts every time just to get the pins that should have been included in one of the parts I purchased below.

I agree but is a bit sketchy to not have them available or send with one of the kits.

Thanks RC. I was searching that same site but using the wrong key words like 2mmx10mm and nothing came up pins.

It really was not so much about the cost but the aggravation of buying everything to build 3 spare diffs to swap in to find out I had to pull all the old ones to get the pins out.
