Could be that the ring gear isn't sitting on the diff housing completely flat. Maybe try taking it off and reseating it.

Check to make sure there is no flashing on the teeth or on the back of the gear. It doesn't take much to cause binding.

Malin attended round #4 of the JConcepts Challenge 2012/2013 @ Mustit Raceway with her XB4 this weekend.

Here are videoes from qualifying #1 and #2.

This time she ran in heat #3 with the fast guys

She was VERY eager (just loves racing) this time around and made some small mistakes along the way but considering she's only been driving for 4 months I think she did good

Qualifying #1 where she placed 4th.:

Here's video from qualifying #3.

Another 4th place finish in this heat, but her time from qualifying #1 is still the one to beat.

Did anyone figure out a 12mm hex wheel that works for the XB4?

Is there a dirt blue groove setup out there for it?

Is a good setup. Honestly the kit setup is very good. Just a few tweaks that are done in the above setup seem to give a little more rear bite and corner speed. I'm still running the kit springs as opposed to the 3 dot which are listed on that setup.

I set fast lap last night with my xb4 it was driving awesone. I made a few changed to get more mid and exit steering. i took the sway bar off the front and a washer off the c hub. it was good at the start of practice but had a little chassis slap so i went from stock oil to 40wt front and 35 rear. it seemed to calm the car down a little bit to. i moved the rear hubs forward becuase it seemed a little loose on exit and it made it a little tight but by the time the main came the track had dried out and the car had great turning could get on the gas early and feel planted and it was awesome. im very pleased with how it is driving i need to get some more laps in and try some different setups on it. What tires are you guys running front and rear? i was bk bars in the rear and scrubs in the front

I'm a big fan of Vektors in the front and Suburbs in the back. The Vektors are very aggressive. While the Suburbs take 4 hours to break in, once they do they're really good.

Instead of moving the hubs forward maybe try different diff oils that are closer together. Seems to be the latest trend with this car, 7/5, 5/3, 3/1. On my car the rear had more traction coming out of the corner.

i am at 5/3 right now in mine. The only reason i did the change is i know that the track will be dry by the mains and i would need the extra wieght over the rear but it was driving awesome and i might try them tires and see how i like them. i could maybe try 4/3 or 5/4 one of these times to see what it feels like

How have you done this?
AE spur has smaller hole for the shaft?
Have you drilled the hole bigger? Used reamer?

I'm wondering how to make the hole bigger without making the spur go out balance.
