Just to be clear, your talking about the um713 shim and not the um508c shim right?

The UM521-1 also requires a set of outer hinge pins or you can ream the outer hole on the arm where it captures the hinge pin and use the RB6 outer hinge pin with 2 2mm spacers. Really easy mod.

Would this be for mod or stock? What kind of grip are you running on? Tires and sauce?

I was lucky enough to get to drive my first RB6 last night at the local club race. It was a stock buggy in mid motor layout. Only got to run one pack before racing and was very impressed with the performance. TQ and won last night with 18 guys running stock. Needless to say I will running a RB6 next year in mod. We are lucky enough to have Team Kyosho at our home track and pretty much everyone runs Andy Dibrio set-up. So planted and turns awesome.

Set-up is on our site here. http://www.thebigrc.com/?p=5070

My loaner had a short pack in place with everything else the same. Most everyone runs the saddles though. The saddles add some weight in the center of the chassis to help give the more plated feel. I will be going with saddles. Personal preference but Andy was top ten at the Spectrum race too and all he changed was tires. Its a real good starting set-up for the regular racer guy.

It's a lighter chassis by 25g. More milling so it flexes more for more traction.

Oh you are such a tease. New part number?

So if you wanted to go with the 521-1 arm with no modifications you would need to get the following
UM521-1 Kyosho SP "Type B" Middle Suspension Arm Set, 2 of them
la229 Kyosho Rear Outer Suspension Shaft
KYO1-S12605H Kyosho 2.6x5mm Button Head Screw
OW5015 Kyosho Short Big Bore Shock End Set (4)

If you wanted to use the RB6 rear suspension shaft then you would have to drill out the arm like sir_thomas explained.

I think I got it right now.

Or you could just use the stock arms and see how that feels.
