Well, I'v been running the same Alu-0s for the last 2 years (got them for my rb5, and moved them to my rb6), and they look and feel like they did the day I bought them. Bearing fit is still 100% snug... and I typcaly put in about 15-20+ packs a week, with some weeks reaching 40.

Ran the same 0s on my SC for almost a year (not nearly as much run time), but they were old used ones I got on a different car. They were old blue ones where somebody actually scraped off all the annodizing. they looked like hell from all the use, but the bearing fit/finish/feel was still 100% plush.

So yes... from my experience, they don't wear. (at least at the bearings... they might wear after a long while at the hingepin).

My blue alum hubs are beginning to develop some slop at the large bearing (rb5). The car had gone through some bashing though, instead just being pampered at a track

IMHO if Kyosho wanted to replace the 'v1', which they are, then why bother with stamping 'v2' on them? It's like different horses for different courses? And would I still need the brass bushing between the bearings? Personally it rubs me up the wrong way with all these fidgety plastic in the hubs that I need to look after. Slap on the hubs and be done with it. Anyway my OCD is taking over me I need to lie down Cheers,

@ Cpt. America - With the 12.5mm Hi torque rotor in a Revtech 17.5 does it really bring it to life, compared to a regular Revtech 17.5 w/ a stock rotor and full timing?
Thanks.

It's at least .2 if not .5 on my home carpet sedan track. Enough to where I wouldn't dare run a stock rotor 17.5.

It gives you more low end pop which is great in stock buggy. I currently run a ht in my d3.5 and it is wicked fast

I have actually cut a few and sold them for $20 shipped.

I may have couple full size ones in my box.

I did the same. It holds well and I think it looks a lot cleaner than the stock or exotek setup.

Most important thing about RC Cars is how they look!

If that wasn't true, I would probably still be driving a XXX
