Hey Guys, what kind of camber gain would be considered a lot! If you are running -1 camber at ride height, and when you compress the suspension to the ground you get say -5 degree's (4 degree change) is this a lot.
Whats the minimum and maximum camber rise all you guys run out there?

I noticed you're from OC. I usually go to scvrc, have you been there? Will that second link work at scvrc? Thanks in advance.

Casper's setup are pretty good just about everywhere. try it out but make sure to follow it to a T. If you are having problems with it come back here and describe the problem and I am sure someone can help you tweak it to what you need.

No I have not. I heard they are running slicks up there though. I would give the setup a shot. It worked great at Hot Rod on Blue groove so I would expect it to be good on high bite clay as well.

When you say hot rod, are you talking about the new offroad track?
I'll try out your setup, thanks again.

No old track for big events when they run it dry. Not typcial club night wet track. For big events the traction goes way up.

Casper, after setting up my sons buggy with your settings, everything looks good except I cant get the front ride height to 24mm. When I was running thicker oil in the front I was able to adjust it to any height. now with the 55 piston and oil weight, the highest I can get it too is 20mm. Its weird, cant figure out why. Maybe im measuring in the wrong location... Im putting the gauge right under the servo arm.

I measure on the chassis just past the bumper.
the two hole pistons will soak up the bumps and jumps better then the 4 hole pistons.

With the heavy front spring it should be easy enough. Did you over tighten the upper shock mount nut and bind the shocks from moving freely.

Pistons should have no effect on static ride height, but they can magnify the effect of any binding.

Only way a piston will effect ride height is if it is binding on the inside of the shock due to flashing.

Interesting, ok ill switch over to the AE pistons and seel what else could be causing the ride height to be off. I cant find anything that could be binding the shock. Thanks again
