From what I've seen of the images to date, the new chassis will be 201 XMW compatible only, i.e. you won't be able to run the 201XM gearbox in it. So if you have a XMW, you should be able to replace the aluminium chassis with the new 'plastic' one.

May be a little different in dimensions. But should fit XMW and XM. I have an XMW shock tower for my XM. The 211 looks to have same gearbox as XMW.

I'm pretty happy. I just got done with the bulk of the work to finish up my new XMW. I've got some custom stuff that I've built for it, so I'll get some pics posted, but it probably won't be until Sunday. The new track in my area is finally going to open tomorrow for the first day of practice, and Saturday will be the first race day. First thing tomorrow is a trip to the machine shop to finish up the last custom part. Once the part is done I can break in the diff, mount the transponder, set the slipper, ride height and camber. Then its off to the track to try and figure out what tires are going to work.

Are you planning to stop by the track tomorrow(Sat.)? If you are, come look me up, as I'm planning to make the drive down for their first race day(maybe you can try driving mine for a few laps & we can compare notes on tires, setup, etc.), plus, I'm bringing the 503 with me, in hopes they'll have a 4WD class....

Oh I'll be there racing tomorrow. My XMW is all ready to go. I want to bring my 4wd, but I don't have any tires glued up for the wheeler. I could probably make something work, but I'm gonna be shaking down the new 2wd, so trying to shake down a new 4wd at the same time would be more work than I want to deal with. Once we figure out the tire situation I'll get some tires glued up for the 4wd, and get it shaken down. I'll see you tomorrow.

The 211 was been great. I beat on it 4 days straight over the holiday weekend. Set-up is super close to the XMW. The stiffer chassis and weight reduction has made it even more nimble.
Couple build tips.
oil the bearings before you install them
if using the gear diff, use the TRF red o-rings
the blue TRF damper o-rings in the kit are butter smooth, but leak. use the clear, red or x-rings.
rear hexes not included. you need 9804801 and 9805893. 1mm shim on the inside, .5mm shim on the outside.
Also, my XMW is in the f/s section

No ETA on parts yet. All of the wear/break items are the same as the XMW and we have all of those parts in-stock.

Just watched Jason Snyder's unboxing video. UGH! I want to try this chassis. I'm tired of having the heaviest car in stock class. Maybe the right answer is Mod.
