Durango DEX210 Thread

Thanks for the help today. I found quite a few places to get the circlips in the search. I ended up ordering from a couple different places to try some different types.
We need a first page organized like the Losi SCTE's page. Really helps to have resources like that. On this thread if you miss a couple days of not reading its like work just to catch up on info.
I also ordered a couple different thrust bearings to try also. I think I like the looks of the Schumacher one the best.

These things brings out the engineer in me (and I hear some say Internet-engineer )
The rear shock towers breaking on flat (or right side up) landings gets me thinking about the 55mm vs 52mm shock shafts.
The nut on top of the piston might be bottoming out in the top of the shock with the 55mm shaft, giving a blow to the rear tower (the rubber damper on the shaft might compress on impact sending the piston to high).
If that is not the case then the towers might be a bit under-dimensioned or the shock mounting holes should be raised slightly (but then also reducing down-stroke/droop).
just my two cents anyway. I will look into this when building mine next week.

Guys two quick questions. What ride height are you guys running, and what gearing for a 10.5 motor. I ran a boosted 13.5 with a 28/75 and felt it needed more power down low. I think I am going to change motors. Thanks...

Mine was from the first batch. I landed very hard and the shock tower broke. The buggy survived a few hard crashes (in another race) before the tower broke. Overall I am very happy with the durability of the buggy. The shock tower does appear to need more material around the affected areas.

The Schuey spurs fit both the 410 and the 210. Its the same inner diameter of 8mm, and uses associated style slipper pads.
I have ran an 83T spur in my 410 in the past. Schuey Part number is U3351
76T spur is part number U3790

I would go ALU on the 410. Racers edge makes a good one. Stick with plastic on the 210 cause there is no servo saver.
