It was a nice turn out Sat the 26th. We ended up with 5 heats. Mod 2wd, Mod 4wd, Mod Truck and two heats of Short Course. It was great seeing all the kids there racing and having fun. I see some older racers are coming back as well. It looks like it is going to be a great winter of racing at HDRP.
Andy was talking about rebuilding the track next Sunday so if anyone is interested in helping please let Andy know. Andy left out some track grids for us to design a track. I have a track design that I think will work and will submit it to Andy ASAP so we can vote on the next track.
Remember racing on Wed the 30th. The hobby shop will close the 31st and 1st then there will be racing again Sat the 2nd.

Default track

It would be nice to see a double with the second jump so modifieds would back side it and stock can land on top. More like a single with a table top jump for the second. When are we going to build?

Default Hot News from the HDRP web site

Hot News Up Date 1-1-2010

Well we are in a New Year and we have started to see a small increase of new racers.
I know it was a rough year for most of us but 2010 I hope will be better for all
of you as us as well. Let get more people interested in racing this year if we can
all get 1 more racer involved we will have a great base of racers.

This Wednesday January 6th,& 19th is the start of point series racing. We are going
to try to do a little different on the point series. If you make 6 of the 7 races
we would like to hand out shirts if we get enough racers. And trophies to
the top 3 winners to each class. Lets get everyone out on Wednesday night for racing.
The Following point series races are posted on the 2010 Calendar. Also all
of the up coming races are posted as well as our annual Western Slope Challenge 2010.

Please let me know when you would like to get in and start on the track rebuild.
This is your tracks as well and your input is the best way to build a great
design and get new racers involved by putting fourth your great ideas.

After the New Years we should be back on Schedule and racing every Wednesday
at 6:00pm and Saturdays at 5:00pm except for special events. I do like to add a
little more racing for you at no extra charge as well and fun for all. But we do need
to get started a little early those days. Hope to see all the Regulars and all the
new racers as well for the 2010 Season.

January 9th will be Bigfoot 2010 a race that combines Modified Truck
and Stock truck. RACING WILL START AT 3:00pm SHARP!!! We will race 4 heats and
single 10min A mains for all classes that day.We will still race all classes that
day so bring your Buggy, Short Course, and 4wd as well.
Cost is $25.00 for Both classes.
SEE FLYER ON WEB SITE FOR DETAILS

We have decided to lower some of the pricing on racing. If you race
2 Classes cost is only $25.00 on Saturdays and $14.00 on Wednesdays.

Please remember we are racing Every Wednesday Night at 6:00pm
and Every Saturday Night at 5:00pm as well.

Thanks for all of your support.

It was another great week of racing at HDRP Its nice to see all the kids and new racers trying out their Christmas gifts. We are also getting a good group of old club racers back in the mix.
The Bigfoot race is this coming Sat. Mod/Stock truck combined. Andy told me that 13.5 was legal for stock, and mod will be open so we can run 13.5 in mod as well. I know that some of us were concerned about having to change motors or have two trucks again like we did a couple years ago. (my old T4 can stay retired) Remember that racing will start at 3:00 on Sat. We are going to have 4 qualifiers and 10 min A mains.
I'd like to thank Woody for coming out and racing with us during his vacation. Woody lives in WA and races in the northwest. He plans on being here for the Western Slope Challenge and is going to try to talk Scott Brown into coming with him(we can only hope). Woody is also trying to plan a trip to IR/CR for April Fools but before that I may meet up with him in Las Vegas for the Silver State Nitro Challenge......... IS IT SPRING YET I NEED TO BURN SOME NITRO!!
Thanks again for the video Woody hope to see you in March at Silver State!!

Default Bigfoot Classic Results

Thanks to everyone who came out and raced in the Bigfoot Classic. Special thanks goes to the crew from Utah for making the trip. We hope to have a group of us head that way for April Fools and maybe even a club race before then.
