Default Classes rules etc.....

Ok I know the meeting was last Sunday but life has gotten in the way this week so here we go.....

Classes

Tamiya Mini Orca Brushless

Touring Stock "Blinky" 17.5 Jaco Blue Handout Tire

Touring Super Stock "Boosted" Lowest Turn of 13.5 Jaco Blue Handout Tire

1/12 Stock "Boosted" 17.5 Open Tire

1/12 Super Stock "Boosted" Lowest turn of 10.5 Open Tire

World GT "200mm Cars" "Boosted" 13.5 WGT Spec Tire

Touring GT/VTA HPI Spec VTA Tire Silver Can or 21.5 No Boost

I'm setting up on rcsignup.com
These are the Advertised Classes.....

We are setting a Minimum Entries Date of October 1, 2011
If A class does not have a Minimum of 5 cars registered by Midnight (pacific time) Oct 1 the Class will be Canceled

The Rules Have Been Set....It is up to the Drivers to know the rules. They are HERE in this PDF file.....at the bottom...

Just a couple of the important notes that i'm sure most wont read....but everyone should...

Orca Brushless Mini Class.....Silver cans will be allowed to run...However this is the Orca Brushless Class for WCICS Points...No matter if you are TQ , 2nd, 3rd... The Silver Can Cars Will NOT Race beyond the C Main. Round Stick Type Lipos Only...No Square Packs...Even in the M06...Maximum of 5000mah and a Weight Limit of Minimum 1200g

All Classes.....Battery Voltage>>>>IMPORTANT<<<<<< Not to Exceed 8.40V or 4.20 volts.....The Meter will be available before the Official check in....If your Voltage Exceeds these numbers at the Official Check in...there will be NO Running your car to drop the Voltage....The Car will be Disqualified from the run...It will NOT go on the Track

I'll also just cut and pase this directly from the rules regarding ESC's

ESC: ESC’s must be on the ROAR approved list as of the date of the race. ESC’s in non-timing classes (TC Stock, 1/12 stock, Touring GT/VTA, Tamiya M-Chassis) must display the appropriate non-timing indication marker (LED, etc). Previously/currently ROAR approved ORCA ESC’s with the latest ORCA firmware/software will be accepted at all rounds (including Round 1 which precedes the ROAR ban completion date in November 2011.)

+1...I ran an F104 with moderate success last year in the GT class. You do have to convert over to rubber tires (Ride or Pit Shizumi work best) but I had mine running pretty good on the Ride tires !

Cheers,
Mike
