I' will let you pass team orders or not

Hey Grant,

I read the class specs again and I'm all for PNRACING GT STOCK.

I appreciate the hand out motor so we all have the same power train and is up to my bad driving where I place in the race (no engine vuuudoooo )

So change from box stock to PNRacing GT Stock

See you tomorrow.

Marcos

Thumbs up CCS ROUND 1 RESULTS!

Wow, what a first round for CCS!
Full house of about 20 racers and 3 more who came in for practice.
Total of 6 full heats & right around 35 entries!
Lots to point out here's a couple:
Box Stock - super close racing from 1st heat through A-main amongst top 3 !
GT Sportsman - as usual ton of action with Dave giving a run to Anson for that first spot - Dave getting quicker each time
Gt Stock A & B sorts - hotly contested 5th spot for A sort was fun, nice racing
Formula 1 Real -Loudest belly laughs of the day could be heard during F1 real a-main. This class is taking off real (pun) nice!
Open Mod - well..the only possible way Phillip was not gonna end up in P1 would be if Grant was racing instead of announcing.

Results:

round 1 CCS F1 Real.pdf

round 1 CCS GT stock BOTH HEATS.pdf

round 1 CCS Open Mod.pdf

The event looked like real fun. Too bad I had to leave early. I can't wait to actually race with you guys.

I also wanted to say 'Thank You!' to Grant for taking the time to help me get my car dialed on the track. The car is soooooooo much easier to drive.

For me the best battles had to be in Box Stock, swapping positions with Alex so many times! Also, reminding Clement NOW that he should replace his F1's motor wires with better ones so he doesn't DNF next time.

Alex, I forgot to tell you but your BMW-Williams developed a tiny bit of tweak to the right as the race night progressed. I'm going to need one more tuning day with the car to REALLY make it dance, as well as handle 50t power. I should be able to make your F1 so fast you can't recognize it.

Thanks again to Philip, Grant and Steve for making this happen! I'm definitely not doing 3 classes ever again, I passed out SO fast promptly after getting back to Caltech.

Erik I noticed the same about your car too...your last runs were so fast and smooth compared to when you first walked in! like Brian said box stock racing was a blast as usual..hopefully you'll be able to do racing soon!

Brian thanks for tuning my F1 in the first place..I took a quick look and so far haven't even noticed where the shims are? above and below front knuckles maybe? Whatever you've done to the car so far in combination with your driving ended up in a blistering drive on the track one thing I realized was that you had those semi slick tires in the rear (courtesy of Joe Chen's creativity!) I wonder what role they played compared to our grooved tires and that's why I'm so curious about the new full slicks from Kyo - also front tire...did you put a single groove to the outside using tire truer?
