R/C car hobby shops in California
I will visit California this month. San Francisco, Las Vegas and L.A. are planned.
Can someone tell me their favorite hobby shops? I generally like vintage R/C stuff, but also need bearing sets for my RC10 classic buggy.
Thanks!

I am a fan of Revelation Raceway in Montclair - about an hour'ish from downtown LA. Something of a hole-in-the-wall (sized) shop, packed with all types of kits, decent selection of tools and parts. From a vintage perspective, not sure what qualifies though I do purchase most of my re-re kits thru them. They also have a bunch of old 2 channel radios nailed to one of the walls, to which I once said: "you have my childhood on your wall". That along with on/offroad tracks makes for a fun experience.

if it's not to late.
Huckleberry RC is an outdoor dirt track in Anaheim, not far from Disneyland.
also out in that are is Ultimate Hobbies and RC Visions hobby shops. they're pretty cool.
over in Long Beach there's the RC Street Shop. it's kind of small but the staff is cool and they usually have a good parts stock.
if you're into drifting there's Opposite Lock in Camarillo. i think they do Mini Z stuff there as well. there's also Roadrunners RC Club also in Camarillo.

norcal hobbies has a nice shop. I'm sure the owner has something hidden in storage.

Sheldons Hobbies in San Jose, CA has a ton of vintage parts on the wall and in boxes, not many vintage kits, but maybe you'll find something in the used cars for sale.

It has changed owners a while back and the new store is quite a bit different than the old Sheldons I remembered as a teen (on Old Oakland road).
I sometimes visit the store since I have some vintage kits I like to restore.
