ON ROAD Is Back in San Diego!! We're going to start with the 2nd Saturdays of each month, if we have a decent/good turn out this race we will be racing 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month.

BEGINNER FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT! Come join us our parking lot on road race! All cars welcome! F1, Sedan, RCGT, Cup Racers/Minis, Short Course Trucks (both 2x4 and 4x4), 18R's and many more!

Please read the following guidelines:
Drugs or alcohol will not be tolerated, no different than any other tracks, just leave it at home please.
No running cars around in the parking lot, unless on designated track.


June 9th. Practice Starts at 8:45 am, Racing gets underway at 10:30 am. Tables, Chairs, and eZups are along with portable generators are strongly recommended! .ONLY $10 TO RACE! If you don't have a transponder, we have house transponders available to use!

Rough outline of the Race classes:

• SC stock
  • 2wd SC trucks
  • 7.4v lipo or 8.4v sub-C limit
  • 17.5T motor limit
• SC Open
  • 2wd or 4wd SC trucks
• 18R Stock
  • Must use motor that comes with 18R
• RCGT
  • No "race bred" bodies allowed
  • Must use spoked wheels and Any Tire
  • 7.4v lipo or 7.2v sub-C limit
  • 17.5T motor limit NO BOOST
• Mini class
  • HPI Cup Racer, ABC Genetic, Tamiya M chassis, etc.
  • 7.4v lipo or 7.2v sub-C limit
  • 21.5 (Blinky/ No ESC timing), ABC Hobby MJGTC (brushed), or Mabuchi Silver Can (Brushed). No motor timing adjustments for any motor.
  • Must use mini wheels and tires
• 17.5 Spec Class
  • 17.5T motor limit (No Boost allowed)
  • Any TC body, Tires, Wheels
• 17.5 Sedan
  • 17.5 Motor limit, boost friendly

Way to go SCRC! Its great to finally have a local race program that'll be fun and organized to boot! The SCRC crew has put on a lot of great racing events in the past and I look forward to attending many road races in the near furture!

THE JULY 7TH RACE WE HAD 16 HEATS AND 101 ENTERIES. WAS AN AWESOME DAY OF RACING AND A VERY SMOOTH RAN PROGRAM. TRACTION WAS UN REAL.
