I just called the hospital. Dean is either still in theatre or in Recovery. Next stop ICU. The lady said to call back in half an hour or so.

Haven't heard anything yet either, might try and send a text to him sometime tomorrow and see if he's up to having visitors.

And regardless of numbers, it's always a good night out and fun to be there.

Cheers
Rob.

Heya Peoples,

I just spoke to patient enquires and Dean is out of surgery and in ICU, which he was expecting to be in for a couple of days.

So i'm hoping that means things are ok for him

Anyway i will let you know more when i get a hold of him, but im pretty sure you wont be able to visit him untill he is transferred out of ICU.

It always cheers him up when he knows you are thinking of him and hes very appreciative of the support he gets from the track.

Thanks Martin, he has a lot of good friends wishing him well, as he is a great guy.
With the support he is receiving from all I'm sure that will help the recovery process as well.

Cheers
Rob.

If my shell fits your car you can have a loan of it during practice and see what you think in comparison to yours.
Thanks Andrew, I'll check the P37-R out Friday mate

Spoke with Dean late this morning. Patient Services put me through to ICU and the nurse in ICU was able to let me speak with him for a few minutes. Nurse indicated Dean's condition was stable.

Operation lasted 7 hours and Dean did not sleep much last night. Sounded very groggy on the phone probably as a result of the after effects of the operation, anaesthetic and the pain killers he is on. He thinks he will be moved out of ICU to a ward later today.

Still has some spirit as he was able to tell me the nurse looking after him was ‘alright’ and he hopes to come racing Friday night.

Thanks for the news Rob.

It's good to hear he still has his cheeky spirit, I'm surprised he hasn't asked for her number yet, must be the good pain killers he's on that are slowing him down.

Cheers
Rob.

Hi Alan,
That body is a great carpet body as it has very little steering for on road.
Have one you can try.

Thanks Bob, I was looking for something pretty neutral.

Do you reckon it has less steering than a mazda spped 6?
