It took them 4 days to find out i have a better bug which is worse called imp4 (yayaya). non contactable just grows inside you. I'd like to say thank you for all your support to the people that rang to Rob Nicol for coming and seeing me on sunday and to the rest of the clubs members who past there get well messages on this site and pass it on to people that talk to me. Thank you to you all as this is what makes not a good club but great one. I got home today with yellow and purple arms and will see you all on friday. Once again thank you to you all.

Catch You Friday

Glad to hear that you're feeling better and back home again.
Not even a super bug can stop you from enjoying yourself with friends on Friday night, maybe you should be called "Arnie" cause along with your "9mm" you can say "I'll be back".

Also got a present for you today, finally got the receiver I ordered a couple of weeks back.
Apparently my local PO neglected to inform me that it was there waiting for me, and it was lucky I picked up some other stuff today as it would have been returned to sender soon.

Take it easy mate and get yourself well rested so you can enjoy Fri night.

Cheers
Rob.

Radio Active mentioned earlier about LMP1 cars and it got me thinking. Is there a class for these type of (10th scale) cars to race under or would you run them with F1 if only at club level?
I bought a Nissan R91CP this week and although it will be some time before it's up and running, i'd like to get it out on the track once in a while.

Cheers.

Tamiya released years back LeMans or GT1 style bodies for the F103. All you need is the body and the front bumper and it is a simple job of transforming an F103.

Graham W and I have talked a few times about running the LeMans style bodies on a non point score night for a little bit of retro racing fun. Maybe something we can look at for the non point score round coming up in a couple of weeks in Oct school hols.

My last attempt at painting rc bodies would best be described as disastrous. I'm pretty anal about this so I think i 'll ask someone else to paint it for me.

That's a really big step up from 21.5
Are you adding turbo as well?

Tony, have a talk to Jeff at the track, he may be able to paint your body for you, he does a fantastic job.

Cheers
Rob.

their are other at SMA and Moorebank that are interested in this class flying
Generally 540/21.5 and such but lets not worry about the rules

Its the class i started in and its very cool even a 540 motor at sma is spectacular and with the indoor track opening up in gosford we could make a good class of it
maybee a two wheel drive weekend

Which R91CP do you have? Is it the newer one on the F103LM chassis, or the older one on the Group C body? Both are 200 mm (Tamiya was doing WGT on the Group C chassis before anyone was calling it that) and it doesn't really make any difference to the discussion, I'm just curious.
