Snives, its been like 10 yrs since runing there, anyone got a spare car, those SC look like fun.

Approved Speedies (2WD) & Approved batteries.
The 6000MAH limit has been removed from 2012.

Could somebody please post a list of recommended accommodation close to the track?

Also, when are St Ives regular club meetings between now and the Nationals?

Is this the same for normal classes ?

i.e 2wd mod, 4wd mod, stock classes etc.
Been wanting to get some 6200mah batteries for a while..

Hey Dan there's chat here about accommodation its the Ibis at thornleigh you may see on your train travels there's another at pennant hills not sure of the name can find out & I think there's a couple around HORNSBY all close to shops etc for supplies & not that far from the track

Jarred,

Yes. The Clubs voted to lift the 6000MAH Maximum last year.
This will come into effect in 2012.

I'm just thinking ahead here a bit. Is the track typically open for practice on the Saturdays before Club meetings?

There's a "Where to stay" link in the 'about' section of the St Ives Website here.
There's a couple of suggestions near the track and there are camping facilities within the Showgrounds.

In addition, the club web site lists a meeting on the 5th feb, baring weather intervening is this scheduled to go ahead?

Also does the club have chairs and tables for visitors to use on a saturday and sunday?
