yep we are they room is booked

question on the controlled tyre thing ? i take it for practise you dont have to be running controlled tyres?

and what compounds are going to be used? is it only softs? and do they have to be purchased from the club ?

bit new to this controlled tyre event but i like the sound of it by putting evenyone in the same boat for tyre selection

Under current regulations: correct, the info above says M3 compound, which is fairly soft but not the softest Proline makes, no but unless you are sponsored chances are you won't get them cheaper than from the club since AARCMCC has a standing order arrangement with the suppliers that makes demands on all parties with regard to pricing.

While I'm typing I feel the need to point out that the SCT classes must be demonstration classes, unless the clubs are to be posted voting papers in the next 5 days. Interesting that (at least) two SCT demo classes are to be tried. Am I reading that right? Is that (1) 2wd 10.5 blinky, and (2) 4WD Open, OR (1) 2WD, (2) 10.5 Blinky, and (3) 4WD Open? The punctuation makes in ambiguous.

Proline M3 Rib would be a default choice.

Just seeking clarification here, please dont't shoot the messeger but the foam inserts in the tyres is open, as there don't appear to be any information in the rules that say otherwise...

thanks guys

You will have to use the standard inserts (ones that come with the tyres) like most other recent NSW State and National's.

Also to clarify, there are two demo classes - 2wd blinky and 4wd open SCT at these titles.

Hope that answers a couple of questions.
