Definitely notice the wider chassis. My 3.0 bodies won't quite fit on this new bad boy. Time to start painting! Looks like I still need to work with my motor wires as they slightly rub the top of the body. Will redo the wires and rotate the motor 45 degrees to remedy this.

Everything seems to really fit well in the chassis. Will play with battery placement. Have about an inch forward or aft so lots of flexibility in the setup.

Love the aluminum Spindles and Castor blocks. They look super solid. Will add the aluminum rear hubs as they arrive next month.

Still need to set up steering, camber, tow and ride height! Will do this at the track tomorrow. Will add the Aluminum top chassis brace when it arrives next month.

The new engine mount is interesting. Took a sec to figure out how to install it and I got some tips from previous posts. It definitely seems like a much more sturdy set up than prior 8ights. No more stripped spur gears!

Didn’t have time to paint this first body up and was anxious to get out on the track to try this new 8ight out. New painted body coming soon from Bradley. The kit comes with a nice set of graphics to add.
