You're probably sick of me replying David, but I'll go again anyway
Start with 25/96 gearing with 45mm tyres and a 3.5t. Play with boost and turbo as you go to get the speed with good temperatures and run time (start low).
Get some Ulti J soft rears and J medium fronts. They work really nice. Trinity Red Dot additive.
Protoform AMR12 body works, but the Strakka or TR12 also seem to work OK. I tried the BMR12, and while it looks sweet, I preferred the AMR.
1/12 on a big track like Brendale shouldn't be much fun - but it is!!

I have never been to Brendale. Most tracks that i have been to (TFTR, Hobby Habit and the few in NSW) i don't stray to far away from the kit setup. I tend to go stiffer in the side tubes. 20k-40k. and silver side springs (.6) and maybe one softer in the front as well.
Ulti tyres are the go. I prefer the feel of a Hard front and Soft rear in J compound. I can only drive a medium front on some tracks. Personal preference.
