New Release X-Ray T4
#21
Track time...
First reports from SMA last night was the cars have more grip all round. More steering while still being planted in the rear.
We strongly suggest starting with the exact kit setting. As always the XRAY kit setting is proving to be a very good starting point.

More testing prior to the Nats next week.
Gear diff filled with putty working well, more mid corner steering and also making the car less aggressive corner entry.
The car likes the std hexes, the T3 liked narrow, on some larger tracks we have been using the wider +.75 Hexes for more stability and corner speed.
Std shock positions are great, the car has plenty of grip so no need to lay them down in most normal track conditions. Std 350wt Oil and std springs are a perfect mix, some guys have changed from progressives in the rear to 2.7's in bumpy conditions.
For anyone traveling to Logan for the Nats next week i hope to have setups online after the first practice day, check here on Thursday night.

Practice day is done, here is the final setting that we have come up with.
http://forum.teamxray.com/xform/inde...ID=53&setup=t4
Mazda 6 is good, easy to drive but not fast enough... LTC is faster but harder to drive. You can also run a gear diff in the front but again easy to drive but not as fast.
Sorry ACE i dont have a 17.5 setup, but im sure the setting above will be good.
