Default 2016 Clark RC Park Outdoor Offroad Season

With the warmer weather everyone starts to think about outdoor racing. Here is the schedule for the year.

Clark RC Park 2016

Starting to look like an early start to the season and we're looking forward to another year of off road outdoor racing.

The Track:
We will be starting the year with a fresh layout and will be planning on (weather permitting) getting it ready asap and sneaking in some race days before the official schedule kicks off. Keep posted here and on our Facebook page for updates!

Classes:
Classes will depend on turnout but usually go as follows...
1/8 Nitro Buggy
1/8 Electric Buggy
1/8 Nitro Truggy
1/8 Electric Truggy
1/10 2WD Short Course
1/10 4x4 Short Course

That being said if we get enough entries for a different class we will surely run it. Depending on the truggy turnout we may have to run nitro and electric together.

We will again be doing some upgrades to the track..... stay tuned for updates!

More info:
Want to see pics of the track? Need directions? Wanna know more about the guys who run this track? Check the website! http://www.clarkrcpark.com

We look forward to another great year and look forward to seeing everyone again.

What transponders do you run there?

Dreaming of a possible future, what are the rules around motor and battery for the E-Buggy class?

I don't believe there is an official rule - but generally most run a 4s battery with a 1900 or 2100kv motor.

From their FB page yesterday.

"This is where we stand on track progress, nearly all the dirt work is done and the loop is in. The remaining tile will be here Thursday. Things that need to be done, stake down the tile, hook up electronics in the booth and fine tune the track ( pick up remaining rocks, rake out bad spots, face jumps, etc.) That being said the weather will be a determining factor for the weekend. If the weather holds, Saturday we will have open practice as soon as the track is ready. It really won't take long if we get a little help."

A mid week update, the question i am hearing is are we racing this weekend? We have a few things to consider before we can race. First is the weather, we are supposed to get some rain, lets see how much we get. Second, the left couple of lanes are torn apart to get heavy equipment to the top side of the track, We will have to do a little track repair and put the tile back. The only thing that is a definite now is we will not be able to have practice tomorrow (Thursday). Thanks for understanding, we want to race as much as all of you but a few things are out of our control! We will post another update tomorrow evening.

Racing update! Well, if you don't have your stuff ready for the 2016 season you are in luck. Due to the shed being delivered, rain, track repair needed and the cold weather with chance of rain this weekend we will NOT be racing on Saturday. We will do our best to have our first race of the season on Saturday, May 7th with practice on Thursday, May 5th.
