will the d3.5 be allowed for stock at the presidential race?

No, as of the new year they are not allowed at all for stock classes.

Is it necessary to be there Friday? Or can I just show up Saturday morning and try to race my way up?

Yes u can miss fri. 2 good rounds for u on sat could put u in the A main just as easily.
