I think 2 hours of building and 4 hours of racing is plenty of time for good battles and hijinks, and 8 hour would be way too long. Most of the racers are offroad guys, they have shorter attention spans.

The 12 spots went fast , Guess I'll come out to watch
We have talked about running a longer enduro but decided to start small and see where it leads. It is definitely a possibility in the future we just need to see how this one goes first.
The spots went a lot quicker than I thought they would, I didn't even end up on a team. Next time I'm in for sure though.

Especially those 1/8 scale guys that race 30-45min mains they can only focus for like 30-45mins at a time.

I asked the same question, the bodies are Tamiya and have marks to follow for their chassis per Shawn.

Default Drivers' Stand

So I raced here for the first time yesterday and had a great time. Well organized, nice close competition and some fairly clean driving.

My concern is that in VTA we had 8 on the drivers' stand and it was pretty tight. And these were pretty average sized guys, not the biggest I've raced with. I'd say 6 to 7 on the stand is probably the comfort limit and I'd also be worried about how much weight the thing can withstand. So where are 12 teams going to put drivers for the endurance race? I suppose we could bring a step stool or something to stand on but don't know how that would play out from a safety perspective. Just wondering if anyone is thinking about a solution for this ahead of time?

I guess this is extra incentive to win the building contest or Concours to get a good spot on the stand!

It was all ready talked about no drivers
Stand this is what I was told every one will stand on the grass
And the drivers stand will be removed.

The bodies can be picked starting tonight. Remember that the concourse winner gets to start on the outside front row and pick their driving spot.
