Hey Guys - This Sunday at Trackside is the first opening event of the Hurricane AllStar Series. Doors open at 8a.m. and racing starts at noon. Sounds like it will be a great turnout for the first event. There is a mountain of door prices sitting down here at the shop. I would like to thank all of the sponsors of the series. I would also like to thank Kevin Kane for heading up the series. See you guys on Sunday!

Thanks - Brad

Here is the Schedule for the race on Sunday.

Doors Open at 8am
Practice will run from 8am to 11:55am...it will be OPEN with 10 guys on the stand at 1 time
Practice will end at 11:55am and then there will be a drivers meeting
First Qualifier to Start at 12:15pm
3 Qualifiers and Single mains
There will be a resort after every Round
8 Cars max per qualifier and 8 cars in all mains

Also ONLY Jack Da Gripper is allowed at Trackside so that will be the only traction compound used.

There will be Tech before each race for Legal Motor, Weight, Ride height and Wing height for Sedans.

Ride Height is 5mm for Rubber tire Sedans and 4mm for Foam Sedans and 12th scale....This will be strictly enforced as Scotty just went and popped for new carpet and I don’t want this race to have anyone ruin it. Also anyone that happens to have their car break or loose a tire will have to stop and be removed from the track right then....not a lap later or a corner later. With the Ride height rule this also means that your body needs to be this high as well. If your body rubs the track you will be asked to pull your car and fix it. This goes for all the races in the series.

Default Class TQ's for the Series.....

I wanted to make the announcement of a new prize that will be offered at the end of the series. The racer who has the most TQ's from each class and each race will get a special TQ Clock. We will also be running a points standing for this award as well and only the person with the most TQ's or in the event of a tie with the highest average qualifying position will get the award. This award is brought to the racers by Fine-Line Designs. Thanks to them for bringing this up and making the award for the racers.

Hmmmm….Maybe I need to copyright my posts from now on…..

I dont know if I posted this before or not but the order for the races will be like this......
Hurricane Cup
19 Turn Cup
Pro-Stock Cup
All-Star Cup

Thanks and if there is any questions on anything feel free to ask.

Also looking over the entry list it looks like Bill Sydor from the MO will be there....thats a haul for him to make this race but it will be nice to see him at the race and I hope to see him at more of them.

Default GQ Racing prizes

Another sponsor incentive...

GQ Racing has stated if anyone finishes 1st or 2nd in the A Main any foam tire class using GQ Foams they will give that person 1 set (2 pair) free. This is good for any round of the ALL STAR Series.

This would basically apply toward the 1/12th scale and 19T TC class.
