I would like to thank everyone for coming out to the 2013 Fall Classic, Breast Cancer Awareness Race, we raised a lot of money for a great cause!! Here are the final results, I will post all the pics in the coming days, thanks again to all our great racers for coming out to a race that means much so much more than just getting your pic with a trophy. Remember to please reach out and spread the knowledge, early detection of breast cancer greatly reduces the risk!

I enjoyed the event over the weekend. Been away for a while.
Raced rookie, and improved my best lap time from 24.9 to a 23.9 through 3 quals and ran my fastest of 22.9 in the A main, which was also the fastest lap of any rookie in any race that day.
That tells me I am improving and making the correct adjustments, but I need to quit hitting things if I want to win a race!
I learned a few other things.
Rc racing is similar to golf in a few ways.
A. It's a mental game
B. you have to be consistent
C. Don't choke
D. You are playing against yourself. The others around you are merely talking during your shot. Tune them out and focus.
