Thank you to everyone that came out and helped work on the track today!

We will be having another track build day next saturday, the 18th.

I was told that the drivers stand is built it just needs to be stood up. I was also told that the clay will be at the location ready to lay out.

We will need as many people as possible with shovels, rakes, wheel barrows, and if anyone is able to bring a tractor or skid steer to help move the clay, it would be greatly appreciated.

We will be working on the track both Saturday and Sunday. We also have been given permission for people who would like, to camp at the track site this weekend.

I'll be there with my Club dues. Do club members need to have their own transponders still?

I had a great time at the new North central RC track lastnight..
The racing was great..
I started the main in third with chuck in second and josh in first..
I followed chuck closely for the first half of the race.. with a minute to go, chuck caught the pipe coming through turn three and I got by him,,
Then I set my sites on Josh,, I had time and I knew I could catch him,,
Little by little I gained on him,,
With 10 seconds to go, I was right on his back bumper,,
And then on the last turn Josh went wide and I made my move,,
I managed to pull ahead of Josh by 6 inches just as we crossed the finish line.. woo hoo...
The track was great,, the racing was great,, the trophy girls where great..
I was having the time of my life..... And then my alarm went off and I realised it was all just a dream and the track still had to be built....

I guess ill see you guys Saturday.....

Once the track is built, the race dates will be the same as what the Marshall's schedule would have been. I will repost them once things get closer to being ready.

I'll be back there at the end of August. I'm in a Co-op right now here in Tomahawk.

Also, Crandon has a race this Sunday, that includes nitro buggies and truggies too. Only 2.5 hrs from Houghton.
