New for 2013 and for the area as a whole, we are excited to bring you a national caliber indoor offroad racing facility to a great new location in Carbondale, Illinois!
Located at 900W Sycamore Street in Carbondale, Il 62901 inside the North rear building of the former National Guard Armory complex. (Parking accessible directly past the front building to your left in the gated fence.) Details- Track Size 80' x 45' with regular layout variations. Pure virgin Clay dirt. Challenging but fair and accommodating track designs. Indoor pits, trackside. Don't forget your tables and chairs. You may leave them in the building. Heated track, pits, and restrooms. Full restrooms indoors. Electricity. Be sure to bring an extension chord and splitter. AMB Scoring. House Transponders Available for Club races. Located right off of Highway 13, only a few blocks from 2 restaurants and a fuel station and within 5 minutes of over 250 restaurants, hotels, and gas stations. RENTALS- Under Construction... Classes Offered- -1/10 Scale- Novice 2wd Buggy Open. 2wd Stadium Truck Open. 2wd Short Course Open 4wd Buggy Open 4wd Short Course Open Novice = Less than a year experience. Open Equipment. Great for newer and younger drivers. 3 win limit. *We reserve the right to bump you up to a more experienced class if you are noticeably out of class. Go ahead and enter if you are unsure, we can determine experience level after the first heats. I really like the idea of $25 and run as many classes as you want. Since I just about have a car for every class looks like I'll be super busy on a race day cause I just can't let one sit at home for a week when it could be racing. Can't wait for the track to be done, I'm sure a crew from the Paducah area will make it up!

The only issue I foresee is that the indoor track will become so popular... Who would want to race outside !!! Hahahaha
