Lots of interest in racing today! We had two heats of buggy 2WD and SCT 2WD today. The points series in two week, I will be closed next Sunday, should offer up some very competitive and fun races for sure.

The fifth points series will start this Sunday - October 26th.

Points Series Dates:
1)October 26th (Sunday)
2)November 2nd (Sunday)
3)November 9th (Sunday)
4)November 16th (Sunday)
5)November 23rd (Sunday)
6)November 30th (Sunday)
7)December 7th (Sunday)
8)December 14th (Sunday)

I will try to stick to the schedule above unless there are a lot of request for a change of dates. I will open for practice at 10 am with racing at noon on the dates above. Your best 6 races will be used for calculating your points total. So you can miss two races or you can have your two lowest races thrown out - if you attend all 8 races.

Points will be 100 for first, 99 for second, 98 for third, etc.

IF you TQ you will get 1 bonus point

IF you run all 8 weeks you will get 6 extra points added

Holy Cow! The best turnout ever at the track for the opening race of the points series. We had tons of good racing today and you're not too late to join the fun - the points series is best 6 of 8 possible races. I had a great time watching all the battles in SCT 2WD - 14 racers just in this class.

Just getting back into racing. Your an hour away maybe. Been out of racing for 10 yrs now. So this lipo brushless stuff is all new. I ordered a brand new b5m yesterday and got a 17.5 motor on the way. Still missing batteries, tx and rx, esc and servo. Needing help selecting this stuff. Also some of it interested in buying used so I can get racing. Any help be appreciated. 217-508-5899. Aaron

Turnout was a bit down today, but we still had some really good races and a lot of fun. I was really amazed how well Dalton Elton did racing Andy's Team Durango DESC210R. Elton won the B main after 7 minutes of tight racing with Gary Hunt and advanced to the A-main. Lots of good racing in SCT 2WD all day. You're not too late to join yourself! This is a best 6 of 8 race points series.

I'll send out a bunch of invites to try to get more racers next week.
