F1 is run at hobbytown oshkosh and there is a series devoted to it in Green Bay, called Formula R/C (they have a thread here). Oshkosh will next be running on June 30th and GB is running July 1st

We are working on car setup & tires combinations to run F1 @ Jansen Family Park in West Bend on the asphalt tri-oval during summer. Need 3 cars minimum to run class.
The f1 class is also run on the indoor carpet oval during winter/spring.
The club also runs Legends, 17.5 Nastruck, Vintage, and Sprints.
The club name is WRCRC, Wisconsin Radio Control Racing Club.

The rules for the WRCRC F1 Class are:
1) Chassis: Any 1/10 scale F1 or Indy car type
2) Motor: Stock 540 J Johnson or any 21.5 sensored brushless
3) ESC: Any ESC, NO timing boost allowed
4) Body: Any F1 or Indy car body
5) Gears: Any pinion and spur gear, any pitch
6) Cooling: Heat sinks and cooling fans allowed
7) Tires: Any rubber, foam, or capped tires
8) Battery: Any 2 cell hard case lipo or 6 cell nimh/nicad
9) Weight: No weight limits
That's it.
Pretty straightforward & simple.
